Taking arts to the next level
For Shuabi Ajadi, a graduate of Fine Art (Painting) from the University of Ado-Ekiti, the job of an artist demand not only dogged determination and patience.
Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com on the success of his just concluded exhibition, Sujjad revealed that the exhibition was not just a product of determination and patience but also genuity. He said his works area blend of new innovations.
In his words, “it is obvious that to chart a new course might be mind boggling and very challenging at times, but it is enough to stimulate me to embark on constructive brainstorming and artistic mind map, the result of which is the just concluded exhibition.”
The exhibition which took place at the Hall C of Kwara Hotel in Ilorin, Kwara State capital was titled, “Discovery”. indeed it was a great discovery for arts lovers who attended the 3 day exhibition as the works on display enthralled, endeared and probed the mind infinitely owing to their uniqueness and finis of expertise.
Sujjad, who explained that it was his first solo exhibition said he had taken part in countless exhibitions across the country. He further explained that he embarked on the solo exhibition to launch his artistic prowess and place artistry at the highest pedestal of global acceptability.
According to him, “the exhibition is a radical departure from conservatiove artistry in terms of quality materials, intrinsic concepts, contemporary methods and techniques of approaching each painting.” It is an apparent leap to a new path of artistry maturity with a deep sense of aesthetic value.
Perhaps a new dawn of dynamic artistry has just set in the vision and 'discovery' of Sujjad's work no one can tell but feed your eyes and feel the passions in these scintillating creative works!
