CRESCENT VARSITY STUDENTS CHARGED ON EXCELLENCE

Students of Crescent University, Abeokuta have been charged to make excellence their watchword. The Vice chancellor, Prof. Hassan Kehinde Okeleye made this call at the 8th matriculation ceremony of the institution.

A total of 420 students were matriculated into the College of Social and management Sciences; Natural and Applied sciences; Information and Communication Technology; Environmental sciences and Bola Ajibola College of Law respectively.

In his address, Prof Okeleye said it was the university's resolve to train and produce men and women of strong character and integrity who could stand the test of time in building a virile society.

In a related development, the Proprietor, Prince Bola Ajibola expressed his gratification on the growth of students' population, adding that the university now has well over a thousand students.

Ajibola said “with all the painstaking efforts, we are now fulfilled to have the first batch of student undergraduate at our college of law”, noting that the education plus of the university would help the students in entrepreneurship and good moral values.
