'We want to bring into life the road maintenance unit of the area council which will maintain those roads that we cannot as of now award for construction or rehabilitation. Yahaya also revealed that most of the ongoing projects in the council were at high percentages of completion adding that more projects would be awarded once those projects have been completed.

Once we have paid at least 75 to 80 per cent of most of our projects, we will award contracts for other projects that need to be done. For now, Dobi Township Road has been awarded and work will commence any time because compensation is being made for the site now,' he added.
