Her Behaviour Puts Me Off

Dear Auntie Betty,
I am 18 and in JHS Two. I am in a relationship with a girl but anytime I call her she finds a nice excuse not to turn up. When I talk to her, she does not mind me.

One day, she asked two of her friends to collect a book from me. I told the friends to tell her to come for it herself but she didn’t.

Her behaviour puts me off. What should I do?

You should know by now that the girl is not interested in the relationship. She knows what is good for her and does not want to invite any kind of trouble for herself.

I hope you will do the same and advise yourself. You should not bother her any longer and also don’t get into another relationship because this is not the right time for that.

Don’t think you have enough time to study so you will laze about. You have to start studying now so that you can prepare adequately for the BECE.

There are so many problems in relationships so you have to forget about that for now and focus on your studies. That is how you can build a solid future for yourself.
