British-born Ghanaian Samata Angel has been shortlisted for Best Young Designer and Best Female Designer at the first annual BEFFTA Awards - Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts Awards. This prestigious event is a distinctly special awards ceremony honoring the best entertainment and showbiz personalities in the black community in UK and the globe. It is the first of its kind rewarding the outstanding contributions in all areas of entertainment and showbiz and celebrating the achievements of stars from the black community which includes Africans and Caribbeans.
