Our Male Teacher Comes To Our Dormitory

Dear Auntie Betty,

I am a girl of 17 and in SHS Two. I am in a girls’ school. One of our male teachers always comes to our dormitory at night, claiming that he is making sure that everyone attends prep.

He comes around without our knowledge and sometimes meets some of the students naked. We feel embarrassed when this happens.

This is about the fifth time it has happened. Is it right for him to do that or should we report him to the school authorities?

As a student, you have to obey school rules. Most students always get into trouble for not attending classes and other school gatherings. so if you are fond of that you have to put a stop to it.

If all students attend school gatherings, I don’t think a teacher will have to chase you around to see to it that you do what is expected of you.

I believe you have house mistresses who take care of students.

Therefore, supposing a male teacher has to come to the dormitory, he has to be accompanied by your house mistress or even your senior prefect.

You can discuss the problem with your house mistress and solve the problem. But always make it a point to obey school rules.
