FG CLEARS ABUJA-KADUNA ROAD

Minister of State for Works, Amb. Bashir Yuguda, has said the Federal Government was working towards decongesting Tafa town, along Abuja-Kaduna road, by clearing it of indiscriminate and dangerous parking by motorists, especially petroleum tankers.

The minister, who disclosed this when he received the National Association of Road Transport Owners and Association of Petroleum Tanker Drivers in his office, said what was happening at Tafa was unacceptable.

According to him, government has taken it as a responsibility to protect the road and road users against abuse and imminent danger to the lives and property of Nigerians.
