Alexandra Nwokedi has emerged winner in this year's Face of Sleek competition. Thousands of entries were received but whittled down to 30 semi finalists during regional screenings held in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos in November. Then, just 15 competed at the grand finale at the Symphony of Style 3 which took place in Lagos. After a keenly competitive contest, the judges, all renowned beauty and fashion gurus, picked Alexandra as the woman who best represents the Sleek Studio brand qualities of beauty, style and elegance.

It was an evening of style and entertainment. Guests looked glamorous in all black attire. There was an elegant explosion of colours, style, beauty and variety, and everything else that is Sleek Studio.

This year's event was super-fab with artists Whiz Kid and Tiwa Savage. There was a host of comedians, dance routines and magic performance by Keelan Lyster and Charlote Marie from the UK. There was, of course, an incredible fashion show by the Sleek models.

This year's fantastic prize package is worth over N4m and includes a brand new car and an all expense paid trip to the UK to take part in the London Fashion Week. There will also be holidays to London or Paris for the winners of Sleek Studio Woman and Style Star categories and one year supply of Sleek Studio hair and make-up products.

The Sleek girls showcased Kiki Kimonu designs in their second appearance and were clad in an evening wear by Mai Atafo. Two vivacious women behind the Sleek brand in Nigeria, Ify and Ebele Ugochukwu, described Symphony of Style 3 as an exciting celebration of two incredible milestones for their beauty business. 'When we founded Sleek 4 years ago, a major ambition was to create and launch a line of hair extensions that had the look and feel of premium 'Brazilian' human hair; yet was made of synthetic fibres and available at affordable prices. Another was to resesrch, produce and introduce our own line of skin care products, developed to adress the needs of the wide variety of black skin types. We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have achieved both'.
