Nation Newspaper Editors arrested for alleged forgery of Obasanjo's letter
The managing Editor of the Nations Newspapers, Yusuf Alli, and the Abuja Bureau Chief, Yomi Odunuga, have been arrested by the police for alleged forgery of a purported letter written former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to President Goodlyck Jonathan.
Pointblanknews.com sources hinted that the duo was picked up earlier today from the newspapers Wuse Abuja office.
As at 10pm Nigeria time, both men were still being quizzed at the Force Headquarters Abuja.
Tha Nation had published a letter where Obasanjo urged Jonathan to sack some heads of agencies of northern stock.
He also allegedly recommended some replacements.
Obasanjo denied the letter and vowed to sue, but the publication said it stood by it's story.
