Libyan NTC Officials Say Gaddafi's Son Mo'tassim Captured In Sirte

SAN FRANCISCO, October 12, (THEWILL) – THEWILL has gathered that one of Muammar Gaddafi’s sons, Mo’tassim was captured on Tuesday by Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) forces as he tried to flee Sirte in a vehicle with a family.

A Reuters report said three officials representing Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) told the news agency that he was taken to Benghazi today where he was questioned.

The agency said the officials it got the information from had provided accurate information to it before adding that they declined not to be named.

Sirte used to be one of the strong holds of deposed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
