ATTEMPTS by 2Face to end animousity between him and Komo may not yield fruits as the latter has kept his distance following instructions by his UK-based management team, KB Music.

2Face, who has sent emissaries to his erstwhile 'friend' asking him to forget about the problems that may have come with the controversy on “Jingle Don Mature”, has not really made a success of the attempts.

“After hearing that my own “Jungle” is selling well in the market, he has been begging me. Of course I'm pained he could do what he did, I have since forgiven him. But then, there are issues to discuss because my management outfit now owns me, I don't own myself anymore. They want the dispute settled officially,” Komo said.

On rumours that his lawyer will soon arrive Nigeria from UK to take legal action against 2Face for allegedly using his song, “Jingle Don Mature”, without his permission, Komo says it is true his lawyer is coming to the country, but will not disclose his mission. “I have been asked not to comment on a lot of things, especially on “Jungle” and 2Face, but then, my lawyer will be coming to Naija from UK soon”, he admits.
Komo has, however, expressed his determination to prove himself before music lovers when he gets on stage with 2Face at Oniru beach in Victoria Island at Kennis eleventh annual Easter jam today.

According to him, he had waited long enough for such an opportunity and it would be a thing of delight to get to perform “Jungle”.

“I'm singing “Jungle” live, it makes the whole show interesting. 2Baba was the first to get a copy of my own “Jingle Don Mature”, I am sure he will do justice to the song”.

Repeated calls and a text message to 2Face were not returned, while his publicist said Hypertek was yet to come up with an official statement on Komo's moves. “I'm hearing it for the first time that Komo's planning to take legal action. I can't comment on that for now. Bye, “she ended the conversation.
