CFAO CICA FINALLY UNVEILS GREAT WALL RANGE

CFAO CICA Nigeria Limited, a member of the CFAO Group has launched the Great Wall range of vehicles into the market, targeting to takeover the pickup vehicle market. The Great Wall models on sale in Nigeria include the Wingle pickups, Haval H3 Sport utility vehicle, Florid hatchback and Voleex C30 Sedan.

Speaking to Motoring journalists before their first test-drive in Nigeria, the Managing Director, Mr. Regis Tromeur explained that the Great Wall brand is a top brand in China with emphasis on quality and durability.

'Our target is to takeover the pickup segment in Nigeria with our range of Wingle pickup which comes in 2.2 and 2.4 litre engines.

According to the managing director, the company introduced the Great Wall range of vehicles only last year and the pickup, Wingle, has become one of the most sought-after models in its segment. They have beautiful designs and is available in 4×4 and 4×2 double cabin.

Presently, he said the Great Wall pickups occupy the fourth position on the imported pickup list in Nigeria. According to the managing director, all Great Wall models are award winners in their various segments, adding that Wingle for eleven consecutive years has remained the number one pickup in China.

On the secret behind the brand's success in the country, the CICA boss said the high quality and competitive pricing of their models have placed them on their current position as one of the best in their segments in Nigeria.

'It took us two years and several trips to China before we became the representative of Great Wall in Nigeria,' he said.

Expressing their readiness to give their customers the best, Mr. Tremeur said that in addition to their quality models, they have put in place an excellent after-sales package for their customers to ensure that they enjoy the products.

The managing director, further stated that so far, their partnership with Great Wall has been a good one and they are confident that the products will soon become a household name in Nigeria. 'It has been a successful partnership. In terms of quality, it has become quite good and we are operating in 36 states of the federation with over 50 dealerships', he said. Adding that they have followed the developmental plans of Great Wall to serve their customers better.
