YOUTHS MINISTER TASKS GOVS ON JOB CREATION

By NBF News

Minister of Youth Development Mal. Bolaji Abdullahi has called on the Nigeria Governors' Forum to make youth unemployment and job creation the most important agenda in the country.

He made the call when Kwara State governor Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed visited him at the weekend. They agreed to collaborate to ensure that unemployment among young Nigerians and other youth development issues are put in the front burner of national discourse.

Abdullahi also solicited the support of Governor Ahmed in galvanizing other governors through the Nigerian Governors' Forum to prioritize youth challenges, stating that the challenges posed by youth development issues are so enormous that the Federal Government alone would not be able to overcome them. 'This responsibility cannot be carried by my ministry alone, and we require the support of state, local governments and other stakeholders.'
