On Wednesday the upper legislative chamber cleared Deziani Allison- Madueke, Godson Orubebe, Prof Ruqqayat Rufai, Emma Wogu, Senator Bala Mohammed, Caleb Olubolade, and Prof Onyebuchi

The whole process was business as usual as most of the nominees were not asked serious questions.

Most of the former ministers were asked very cheap questions and asked to "take a bow and go". Attempts by few senators to grill nominees were frustrated by the majority including the senate president, David Mark.

After the clearance Mark urged all committee members to take oversight functions seriously.
