TAX SEMINAR HOLDS IN LAGOS

A SEMINAR to acquaint practitioners on new trends in tax administration organised by Saffron Professional Services Limited will begin in Lagos on April 19, 2011, at Four Points Hotel, by The Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The two-day seminar, according to the Senior Manager, People Services, of the organising firm, Mofope Balogun, 'the would address issues of increased pressure from state governments to increase internally generated revenue, questions on validity and fairness of tax queries', among others.

Balogun said the Chairman of Lagos State Internal Revenue Services (LIRS), Mr. Babatunde Fowler and the Director, Tax Audit of the agency, Mr. Fatai Abass, are among the resource persons at the seminar.
