NWODO GETS DEDICATED LINE FOR ELECTION COMPLAINTS

By NBF News

NATIONAL Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Okwesilieze Nwodo, has dedicated 'complaint telephone number' in his office to receive complaints and observations from party faithful across the country.

The number, 08060095007, is open for only sms from members and officials who would want to raise issues or complaints on the on-going election processes within the party.

A statement from Nwodo's office directed members wishing to give report through the phone to be precise and short as they give their names, numbers and constituencies.

Meanwhile, a governorship aspirant in Ogun State, Olajide Awosedo, has declared that he is on the list of aspirants cleared by the PDP to bid for the party's governorship ticket in the state.

According to him, the lists published by some media houses in which his name was omitted were misleading.

A statement made available to The Guardian by Awosedo's media and publicity chief, Dr. Biodun Adenete-Marcus, declared: 'In view of the misleading information carried in some media omitting the name of Olajide Awosedo among the cleared aspirants for the PDP gubernatorial primaries in Ogun State, it is very necessary to state unequivocally that Olajide Awosedo was cleared to contest the PDP primary election in Ogun State.

'In fact, he was the first among the Ogun State aspirants to be issued certificate of clearance by the Senator Florence Ita-Giwa screening committee'.
