Nigerians from all walks of life will on Thursday, October 14 converge on Abuja for the launch of two Christian books written by former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju.

The former President, Olusegun Obasanjo would chair the occasion billed for the Labour House, Central Business District, Abuja.

According to a statement made available to Sunday Sun, the two books billed for launch are, 'The Restored Church' Agenda For Church Reform with 552 pages with illustrations, and 'The Restored Church', a Pamphlet with the sub-title, 'A wake-up Call'.

The statement said the first book on 'Agenda', was written by Mbadinuju, who initiated a Monday Morning Prayer regime for all the people of Anambra during his tenure as governor.

It noted that from all that have been written in the books, there is every need for Church reform especially at a time when nations and institutions are engaged with effort at economic, political, electoral and monetary systems reforms .

'The flood of Noah and the fire of Sodom and Gomorrah will be the experience of the denominational Churches more so if we fail to heed God's admonition as we have already seen in Revelation 2:5. 'These books have concentrated more on the message of the time as the Church continues to drift to the end of the Age. We allow the readers to form their own opinion as Christ told his hearers to search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of me (John 5:39).

And the Christians at Berea were commended as being more noble over those in Thessalonica because they (Bereans) received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (Acts 17:23). This is the Lord's doing: it is marvelous in our eyes (Psa 118:23)', it added.
