Jang Felicitates With Muslims On Eid-el Fitr
JOS, Sept 10, (THEWILL) - Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan Fast, culminating in Eid-el Fitr.
Governor Jang in a Sallah message appreciated the virtue of holiness practiced by the faithful during the month as exhibited through self-restraint, discipline and peaceful coexistence among others and prayed that such attributes would be sustained beyond the Ramadan month.
He also called on Plateau citizens of all faiths to continue their prayers for the peace and development of the state, especially with the increased in tempo of political activities.
Governor Jang while assuring of a level playing ground, reminded all politicians to play the game as sportsmen devoid of thuggery, blackmail and bitterness urging politicians to be guided by their religious injunctions, adding that it was time for change of attitude in the art of politics.
The Governor who solicited the cooperation of all, assured citizens that the covenant the administration entered with them towards the transformation of all parts of the state would not be betrayed.
Governor Jang wished all citizens a peaceful and happy celebration.
