HEALTH MINISTER FOR SAVE OUR SOULS PREMIERE

Eminent Nigerians have indicated interest to be part of the two-day premiering of Oby Edozieh's high budget movie, Save our souls.

They include Prof C. O. Onyebuchi Chukwu, the honourable Minister of Health who has also promised to grace the Abuja premiering with the first lady, Mrs Dame Jonathan.

The premiering which will also be featuring the launching of Oby Edozieh's foundation, Oby Gold Cancer Foundation, has earned the support of corporate organizations like First Bank, and the Ministry of Health.

Oby Gold Cancer Foundation, a foundation borne out of Oby's passion for cancer patients has been of great help to several cancer patients, offering counseling and support.

Shot in India and London , Save our souls is to be premiered first in Abuja on 26th August, 2010 at Transcorp Hilton by 1pm. The crew will then move down to Lagos for another premiering on Sunday 29th August at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki. The flick, Save our souls featuring top actors and actresses like Kenneth Okonkwo, Elebelu Elebuwa, Chioma Chukwuka, Ebere Okaro, Segun Arinze, and Oby Edozie herself is about the emotional and psychological trauma that comes with cancer and its effect on victims and their families, as well as their coping mechanisms .The movie is directed by Moses Iyang.

Speaking on the movie, Edozieh said 'it has been very demanding in terms of budget and other logistics, especially since the cast and the movie had to be moved to the two countries, but with the quality of movie we came up with, all the effort was worth it'.
