Today's Christian Devotion 11 - 04 - 2020

By dying, Jesus has destroyed our death, and by rising, he restored our life and constituted us by baptism into his body, the Church. He, our head has attained fullness, perfection and completion; we, his body are still imperfect and on a journey.

Let us go forward in confidence as witnesses to his saving love in the world. When we stumble and fall, his grace is sufficient for us to rise up and move on. We pray that the stripes of our wounded Saviour, may bring healing to the sick especially those suffering from the Covid-19 disease. May his Cross remain for us a symbol of victory, and like St Paul, let us boast in nothing else, except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ (Gal. 6:14) in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

As we continue our mourning period this holy Saturday, our life, peace, joy, health, progress, strength and soul will not be locked down in Jesus mighty name, amen and amen.
