San Francisco, June 22, (THEWILL) – The last has not been heard of the crisis in the House of Representatives as the FCT Police Command a few minutes ago arrested a member of the progressives in the House, Hon. Austin Nwachukwu following the fracas in the House earlier today.

Information reaching THEWILL from Abuja revealed that operatives stormed the residence of the legislator to effect his arrest.

Mr. Nwachukwu is being arrested at the request of the Speaker of the House, Mr. Dimeji Bankole for trying to stop the House from moving a motion for the suspension of members of the Progressives and for deploying canisters of tear gas inside the chamber.

Sources in Abuja told THEWILL that Nwachukwu was also arrested for challenging the leadership of the House who encouraged the severe assault on Ms. Doris Uboh, a member of the progressives during the fracas.

Multiple sources say Ms. Uboh was slapped twice by Hon. Idris representing Wase Constituency, Plateau State while Hon.
