Popular reggae act, Chinagorom Onuoha a.k.a. African Chyna, seems not to be free of trouble after his alleged rape scandal in London as he ran into trouble again during the commissioning of Abe Igi, a relaxation spot at the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, recently. He was arrested where he was singing songs which the law enforcement agents consider offensive to them and the government. The song that irked the security operatives is entitled Mr. President, which is also in his hit album with same title.

The reggae act's performance was interrupted by angry policemen who stormed the stage and whisked him away. Although he was later released, he was warned and asked to be of good behaviour. Guests and officials of the Nigerian Breweries Plc, who were at the event, unanimously condemned the police invasion. Abe Igi, a popular hang-out at the theatre, was renovated by the beer company in conjunction with the managment of the National Arts Theatre. Entertainment Cafe gathered that NB Plc. committed about N20 million to give the spot a facelift.
