PROTEA HOTEL IDEAL FOR EAGLES –MARWA

By NBF NEWS

Buba Marwa
Nigerian Ambassador to South Africa, Buba Marwa, has said that the new camp base for the Super Eagles, Protea Waterfront Hotel in Kwazulu Natal, is ideal for the national team.

Speaking through his friend and media consultant, Mr. Bola Bolawole, Marwa said the Hampshire Hotel was not befitting enough for the team.

'Nigeria is a big country in Africa and we have to exhibit that in all we do. Concentration should be on the performance of the team at the competition,' he said.

He denied deliberately changing the hotel of the team for any personal reason

Bolawole said, 'Our national team is a big brand and we want the best for the players. The ambassador and the Consul-General had no hand in the arrangement made on Hampshire Hotel.

'The High Commission is getting set to receive the team and make the stay of all Nigerians wonderful in South Africa throughout the World Cup period.'

Nigeria is drawn in Group B of the World Cup along with Argentina, South Korea and Greece.
