Miss musical Nigeria beauty pageant debuts in Anambra

The history of Nigeria's music scene would be re-written on the 2nd of October 2016 at Emmanus House Awka, Anambra State, as Chief Willie. M. Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State would play host to the maiden edition of Miss Musical Nigeria beauty Pageant and Nigeria Queen Music Awards, a music awards cum music beauty pageant that seeks to showcase Nigerian ladies with beauty and talent from various parts of the country coming together to display raw artistic talent.

This maiden edition of the awards tagged The Corporate Show is calculated at fostering oneness, peace, unity and rebranding the regions through the aesthetics enshrined in music, beauty and raw talent.

Miss Musical Nigeria Beauty Pageant seeks to bring Nigeria's most beautiful girls in a convergence at Awka to battle for one of the most prestigious crowns. The winner will represent Nigeria at the international contest, Miss Earth M next year in New York. The 10 finalists will travel to the United States to attend the inauguration and unveiling. The winner will go home with N1.5 million, while the 1st Runner up will be rewarded with N800,000, 2nd Runner up N500,000, 3rd Runner Up N400,000 and 4th Runner up N200,000, with lots of consolation prizes for every contestant. All the contestants will feature in a film titled The Queen.

This film will be shot in Nigeria and the United States. This big budget film will feature big names in the music industry such as 2face Idibia, Dbanj, Wizkid, Onyeka Onwenu, Flavour, King Sunny Ade, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and others.

King Sunny Ade, Chief Evang Ebenezer Obey, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Bongos Ikwue, Onyeka Onwenu and others have been penciled down for the artiste of our time category in the Nigeria Queen Music Awards. His Excellency, President Muhamad Buhari, is expected to grace this event of all times.
