Multinational Force Kills 92 Boko Haram Terrorists In Cameroon

BEVERLY HILLS, February 27, (THEWILL) – The government of Cameroon has revealed that its army in a joint operation with Nigerian troops on Friday killed 92 members of Boko Haram sect and freed 850 villagers.

A statement from the Cameroonian Minister of Communications, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, say the operation in the Nigerian village of Kumshe, close to the border with Cameroon, was conducted under the auspices of a multinational force fighting Boko Haram

Bakary was quoted by Reuters as saying: “Two Cameroonian soldiers were killed (during the operation) by an accidental mine explosion. Five other soldiers were wounded.”

The minister added that the army captured weapons and ammunition and found a centre for production of home-made mines.
