President Buhari Visit To Ghana: All Nigerian Community Executives Makes A Case For Nigerians Living In Ghana....

The President of Nigeria,His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari visited Ghana yesterday.After having bilateral discussions with the President of Ghana,His Excellency John Dramani Mahama,he went straight to the Residence of the Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana where he had an interactive session with a cross section of the Nigerian Community comprising of the Nigerian Community Executives,BOT, Student Leaders,Captain of Industries etc.

The President of All Nigerian Community,Ghana,Mr Moses Owharo during his speech congratulated the President of Nigeria on his victory at the poll and praised him for his unrelenting effort in ensuring he won the last election attributing it to his persistence and passion to make Nigeria better.He asked that the Nigerian Government work hard in facilitating the Bill in Parliament that would make it possible for Nigerians living in Diaspora and indeed Ghana to vote during the 2019 Presidential election.

He also said that based on the high number of Nigerians doing Business in Ghana,the Federal Government should ensure positive discussions with the Ghana Government to provide a conducive atmosphere for Nigerian Business men to do business with ease.Furthermore,he assured of the Nigerian Community's support to the present Government to deliver the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

The President of Nigeria while responding informed the crowd that his Government would establish a consular office in Kumasi for easy access to consular services for Nigerians living in that part of the country rather than always visiting Accra.While answering a question on the effort of the Government to tackle Boko Haram,he said they are working tirelessly to eradicate them and asked for support for everyone.In his word,'please dont worry too much,give us time and i assure you things would get better'.

The Public Relation Officer of the All Nigerian Community,Comarde Barry Ndu Nwaihim while answering questions from the media after the event urged the Government to work hard to fulfill the promises that was given to Nigerians before the election and also ensure that the Educational standard of our Tertiary institutions is massively improved as to limit the number of Nigerians rushing to Ghana to seek Education.He also advised the Government to carry every part of Nigeria along despite Political or Religious affiliation..

In all,it was a successful event as President Muhamadu Buhari went back to Nigeria immediately after.
