Udom Emmanuel Takes Stock After 100-Days

Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel has taken stock of his achievements in the past one hundred days with an unprecedented score card highlighting the projects and programmes carried out within the period.

Mr Emmanuel presented the achievements during a special thanksgiving service to mark one hundred days of his administration held in Government House, Uyo.

The Governor expressed appreciation to God for sustaining the divine mandate which he said has translated into ground breaking for industries, roads construction, remodeling of some Urban Centres as well as the numerous investors that have indicated interest to establish in the state.

He said his administration is upgrading physical structures at St Luke's Hospital Anua Uyo to enable it provide world-class health Care services to the people and announced plans to name the one hundred bed space Ward under construction after the renowned Irish gynecologist Dr Ward .He said the gesture is a modest attempt at immortalising the missionary for her contributions towards the development of the hospital.

The governor also commended his Personal Assistant on Local Media Mr Uko Umoh for compiling his one hundred days achievements in a magazine and made a presentation of an undisclosed amount for the welfare of widows and orphans in the state.

Governor Emmanuel thanked the people for the mandate given him to serve and sued for the cooperation of all for the sustenance of the vision of the divine mandate.

The prayer session which was anchored on the theme "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side."taken from Psalms featured words of exhortation and choral renditions.
