Public Announcement From Rivers State Waste Management Agency

This is to inform members of the general public that the monthly Sanitation exercise for the month of June 2015, will hold on Saturday June 27, 2015 across the various local government areas of Rivers State.

As usual human and vehicular movements will be restricted from 7am to 10am during the sanitation hours.

The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Bro Felix Obuah appeals to all residents to fully participate by cleaning their environment, clearing their drains, bagging their wastes and dropping them at approved receptacles only

The Sole Administrator warns that anyone caught violating the restriction of movement order shall be arrested and charged before the Sanitation Court.

He appeals to companies, corporate organizations and individuals to donate their pay loaders, trucks and other equipments for easy evacuation of wastes on the Sanitation Day

All those on essential services or duties are advised to obtain permit from the office of the Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, along Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt.
