Rochdale Swoop For Brandy

Rochdale have signed winger Febian Brandy following his release last week from Rotherham.

The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season, subject to Football League approval.

Brandy joined Rotherham on a free transfer in the summer but made only one substitute's appearance for them before joining Crewe on loan.

The former England youth and Under-20 international started out at Manchester United, but failed to force his way into the first-team picture and after loan spells at Swansea, Hereford and Gillingham joined Notts County in 2011.

Brandy moved on again six months later, moving overseas to Greek side Panetolikos for one season before returning to England with Walsall and then Sheffield United.
