APC Set To Kick-Off Governorship Campaign

Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, will on Thursday, January 8, at 9.00am in Akinima, Ahoada West local government area, kick-start his governorship campaign.

During this period of the campaign which will take him to the 23 local government areas of Rivers State, Dr. Peterside, who will hit the road with his running mate, Hon. Asita Okorie Asita, APC Chieftains and the entire Greater Together Campaign Organisation led by the Director-General, Hon. Victor Giadom, will unveil the Roadmap to Prosperity, his development blue-print for the state.

In a statement Wednesday by Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, Director of Communications for the campaign outfit, Dr. Peterside will pay courtesy call on a First Class traditional ruler in the area before storming the venue for the campaign.

Already, Akinima town, a gateway to Bayelsa and Delta States, respectively, is agog for the event with posters and banners dotting the roads and other open places.

Ahoada West is Hon. Asita's home council and home to the Engenni ethnic nationality.
