Femi Fani-Kayode: The Irredeemable Fall Of APC

The January 8, 2014 edition of Punch newspaper revealed the secret and vicious agenda of All Progressives Congress (APC), a claim which had been substantiated by an Islamic cleric, Yusuf Garba, and the Religious Equity Promotion Council which exposed the plot by the APC to balkanise the 36 states of Nigeria including Federal Capital Territory, along religious lines by imposing an Islamic agenda like the Egypt Muslim Brotherhood.

The cleric and the group had accused the APC of having such an agenda as the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, alleging further that this was the reason why the party was having more Muslims than Christians among members of its Interim Executive Committee. This is grievous and scary and unfortunately APC is yet to refute these heart bothering facts.

One thing this mindless and desperate political group, APC, whose members had been adjudged as sponsors and sympathizers of the Islamic sect Boko Haram, is that, the Nigerian electorate is far more politically conscious than before and nobody can bamboozle them with carrot, bread, honey or milk on the day of elections to give their votes to people behind the woes of Nigeria who are parading themselves as progressives.

Recently a former aviation minister and one time APC chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who just rejoined People's Democratic Party (PDP) made some shocking revelations which cannot be swept under the carpet. ''For 38 years, they enjoyed power and now they are destabilising the government, making the country ungovernable, slaughtering innocent civilians at will and abducting children just to get it back. They have also infiltrated the military and our security agencies with their moles and they have divided our army. Yet, these are the people that are talking and pointing fingers at others,'

The former minister said the overwhelming majority of the party's membership never had an ink on the idea or agenda of the party. He was, however, optimistic that Nigerians would commend him for taking the bold step of exposing the agenda of the party.

'Sadly, the overwhelming majority of its members have no idea what is really going on behind the scenes and what the agenda really is. Those are the ones that I really feel sorry for.

'They will cry at the end of the day if the APC is ever able to seize power at the federal level, because if that happens, we will all become second class citizens in a new colony.

'In addition to this, most of the more reasonable and rational leaders in the party are complaining bitterly behind the scenes, but they are too scared to speak out or to leave the party. I urge them all to do so before it is too late,' he added.

What further proof do we have to look for? The hidden agenda of APC is not in the interest of Nigeria, but the interest of few Nigerians who are committed to impoverish the downtrodden through their obnoxious polices and the Islamic agenda which is their primary motive.

To further reveal the wickedness of the APC leadership, news had been going round on the social media that APC terror squad are considering Chief Femi Fani-Kayode as one of its targets to intimidate, victimize and silence, plus other unprintable threats. They have only forgotten that those who wage wars against God's anointed children are only preparing themselves as victims on the red line of destruction and extinction, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode is very resolute in this course and by the power of the living God he is covered both day and night. No weapons formed against him shall proper, simply because he is on the side of truth to liberate millions of Nigerians from the shackles of ignorance APC had kept them.

Ironically Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who benefitted so much in PDP as Vice President of Nigeria for 8 consecutive years had done nothing wrong by APC estimation by dumping PDP two times, but today APC reveres him a lot as a chieftain of a 'progressive party' that is the height of hypocrisy, grandstanding and deception that characterized APC.

What Nigerians are seeing in the APC is a collection of those who are responsible for the problems of the country and they will sink in the red sea. The APC is never truthful. The same people who were calling Governor of Kano, Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso names and accusing him of being corrupt, but because he is now in their fold, he is a saint and worst still he has been offered Presidential ticket simply because he bowed to their pressure for making the unqualified Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the new Emir of Kano, despite the questionable antecedents of the sacked Central Bank Governor.

However, it does not take a genius to know that what is happening in the political circles today is all about the 2015 fever. We will see more as we move closer to the election period. That is when political groups would be mushrooming with exaggerated zeal and vow to form the government. The PDP is at home to contain all forms of harassment by the opposition, either vaunted or intended. If it is a game of numbers in any election, you can always count that the PDP would have it in large numbers. The good thing is that if five people move out of PDP even by dint of propaganda, the party will take in more than 500 at a time as replacement. The electorate in Nigeria trusts the PDP more than many people are aware. PDP remains the party with the largest spread and tested strength to win elections any day, any time.
