Ekiti 2014: PDP Youths Warns Omisore To Face His Guber Ambition in Osun

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youths in Ikere-Ekiti has warned Osun State PDP governorship aspirant, Senator Iyiola Omisore to face his own ambition and stop running around in Abuja, canvassing support for the impeached former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose.

The Ikere PDP Youths Movement gave the warning in a statement issued today, and signed by its Chairman, Wole Adebayo and Secretary, Biola Morakinyo.

The youths said if Omisore could afford someone who can openly insult the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade as the governor of Osun State, he should know that Ekiti people will not.

They declared that Ekiti people will not accept Fayose, who openly insulted the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe; abducted and detained the late Attah of Aiyede, Oba Adeleye Orisagbemi with criminals, arrested and detained the Onijan of Ijan-Ekiti, Oba Babalola Fadahunsi and forcefully seized the official car of the late Elekole of Ikole-Ekiti, Oba Adetunla Adeleye on the streets of Ado-Ekiti.

The youths, who threatened to go all out to begin a campaign against Omisore's governorship ambition in Osun State, said it was an insult for anyone to think that Ekiti people will accept someone that is standing trial for murder and fraud as their governor.

It is a fact that Fayose is standing trial for the murder of Tunde Omojola in Ifaki-Ekiti on May 28, 2005 and the poultry scam. His EFCC case will resume in Ado-Ekiti on March 24, 2014.

It is also a fact that when Fayose was governor, he openly abused the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, arrested and detained the Onijan of Ijan, Oba Fadahunsi and the late Attah of Aiyede, Oba Adeleye Orisagbemi.

So we ask, can Omisore canvass support for someone, who had openly abused the Ooni of Ife, Owa-Obokun of Ijeshaland, Ataoja of Osogbo, Timi od Ede and other notable Obas in Osun State to be the State governor?

Omisore should therefore stop insulting us in Ekiti by going about telling people in Abuja that it is only Fayose that can deliver victory for the PDP in the June 21 governorship election because Ekiti people will rather continue with Kayode Fayemi's mis-governance than have a return of an Ajantala (enfant terrible) like Fayose as their governor again.
