35 People Killed In Borno

35 people have been killed in two separate incidents at Bama and Malam Fatori towns in Borno State on Sunday (yesterday).

A release issued by Lt. Col Sagir Musa spokesman of the JTF today states"troops have successfully repelled Boko Haram terrorirsts attacks on Mobile Police ( MOPOL) Base Bama andBama town on 4 August 2013. The encounter led to the death of one policeman , 17 Boko Haram terrorists while two soldiers were wounded".

"During the attack in Bama troops recovered 4 Toyota Hillux vehicles, 10 Ak47 Rifles, 2 G3 Rifles, 10x40 Bombs , 3 RPG Tubes, 85 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition , 9 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, one IED, 3 motorcycles 10AK47 Rifle magazines and 1 G3 among others".

Similarly, at about 10 am on 4 August 2013 Boko Haram terrorists attacked a MulltiNational Task Force location at Malam Fatori.

"The attack led to the death of 2 soldiersand 15 Boko Haram". The JTF appeals to the public to assist the security agencies with timely and credible information to be able to destroy terrorists in their area of responsibility.
