I Don’t Eat Meat Whenever I’m About To Release My Albums—Prince Wadada

Prince Wadada is a top gospel artiste in Nigeria. He has won many awards which also the coveted KORA awards as the best gospel artiste. At the awards, he was promised a whooping some of cash running into millions of naira.

But the artiste has been on the low key for a long time. The old days of his 'Holy Holy' hit song has been forgotten as new set of artistes have taken over the gospel scene.

Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com at an event in Lagos, reggae star spoke with us about his album and how he refrain from eating meat because of the album release.

Prince Wadada started by saying that, “I was a vegetarian and I don't eat food cooked by a woman. When I say being a vegetarian, I mean I don't eat meat. I hope you understand.” The Edo State-born singer further said that, “I was a vegetarian for six years.”

“I was somehow tempted when a girl came into my life and I married her and that's my wife.”

Revealing the bombshell, Prince Wadada disclosed that, “[after that], I stayed away from vegetarianism, but I am going back into it becomes my new album is on. As a spiritual man, you don't eat or do anyhow.”

The singer advised that, “you must be spiritual because God is in the spirit. For you to move closer to Him, you must be holy. I have to prepare myself spiritually because of the kind of music I play, a spiritual music.”
