WHO ARE YOU?

I am Churchill Ogoke, born into a family of 7. I am the First.

HOW DID MUSIC START?

Music has always been a part of me. I started doing music way back in secondary school where I used to mime, play around with music, rap and I used to play the drums too, I guess everyone knows how to play drums. LOL

HOW DID U COME ABOUT THE NAME CHURCHILL?

Churchill is my real name.

AT WHAT POINT DID YOU DECIDE THAT MUSIC IS WHAT YOU WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE?

Music is a passion, it's a calling. Only that we got a very funny industry in Nigeria where its more like a game. It is a 50-50 chance. A place where talent is not enough. I have always wanted to do music.

HOW WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD LIKE?

My childhood was indeed rough, I mean very rough. I grew up in Kano State Nigeria where you were not sure of surviving the day talk more of the next day. I come from a family of absolutely nothing. I wasn't born with any spoon at all, so you see what I mean when I say my growing up was indeed rough.

WHAT WERE YOUR DREAMS AS A CHILD?

My dreams as a child were many among which is music which I have accomplished. I also wanted to be a footballer because I am really good at the sport. I also wanted to be a doctor, but its scary when I see people being operated.

DID YOU ACHIEVE ANY OF THEM?

Yes, I would say I am achieving music, and I still got plans to achieve my dreams of being a doctor. You know how it is Dr Churchill.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS?

Cool, Calm and Sensitive

WHAT CANT YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE WITHOUT?

I cannot leave the house without my phone(s)

MOST EMBARRASSING SITUATION?

There was a day I was accused of a thing I knew nothing of. Being the kind of person that I am, I stood up to defend myself having to fight about 10 people publicly and then I got whooped.

YOUR BAD QUALITIES?

I love girls too much, if that is a bad habit though. I'm a lesbian, I only do girls.

NAME SOME INCIDENCE THAT HAPPENED TO YOU WHICH YOU WOULD LAUGH YOURSELF OUT WHEN YOU REMEMBER?

There is but one, whenever I remember my ex girlfriend saying that she is the reason why I am successful and I take a look at where she is and I see where I am today, I laugh.

DID YOU EVER DO DRUGS?

No no, Drugs have always been outta it for me.

MOST IMPORTANT PERSON TO YOU?

My mum is the most important person to me. She is my joy.

TELL US ABOUT HER.

She ia a very religious woman, so close to God. Her prayers have always kept us going. She is one of the closest people I have seen to God. She is the definition of a good and virtuous woman.

MOST IMPORTANT LESSON EVER LEARNT?

Simple, Trust Nobody!!!

YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT?

Although I have a couple moments where I am proud of myself, but I will say that my proudest moment is yet to come.

ANY REGRETS?

I don't regret.

WHAT IS STRESS TO YOU?

To a Nigerian, I think stress is fun, that's the way we are wired. I cannot define stress bro, but as long as it is productive, I won't call it stress.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO UNWIND?

I just take a cool bath, a nap, and I am refreshed.

HOW WOULD YOU LOVE TO BE REMEMBERED?

As a man who believed in whatever he does and NEVER GAVE UP.
