VIDEO: Highlights of King Sunny Ade’s 70-Year Birthday Celebration

King Sunny Ade is one of the most revered music icons to come out of Africa. He is considered the King of Juju music and often called Minister of Enjoyment.

The great performer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has contributed greatly to the growth of world music and has helped put Nigerian music on the international entertainment scene.

On his 70-year celebration, Accelerate TV caught up with the King of Juju music as he got ready for his big day.

The two-time Grammy Award nominee held nothing back as he showed off his bedroom, attires for the day, had lunch with a friend, danced with Congolese artiste, Awilo Logomba and more during Accelerate TV’s Day Pass.
