Mrs. Nwifuru Is a Divine Donation For The Good of Ebonyi People - Igwe.

The wife of Ebonyi State governor, Mrs. Maudlyn Uzoamaka Nwifuru has been described as a divine donation for the good of Ebonyi people. This was disclosed by Ebonyi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon Uchenna Stephen Igwe, while interacting with journalists. Charismatic Igwe who brimmed with joy in palpable appreciation of the strategic humanitarian interventions of the Ebonyi first lady through her Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally-displaced persons, BERWO, pet project reeled out the achievements of the governor's wife in less than a year.

According to the charismatic Honourable commissioner, "I commend the first lady and mother of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Maudlyn Ukamaka-Nwifuru, for her free cervical cancer screening for Ebonyi women, free health care and delivery services to pregnant women and newborn babies, free enrollment of 4000 Ebonyi women into Ebonyi Health Insurance Scheme and the commissioning of BERWO health centres and projects in Ebonyi rural areas."

Concluding, the gentle commissioner gave a word of advice to Ebonyi people: "As I thank Her Excellency, Mrs Uzoamaka Maudlyn Nwifuru, who is certainly a divine donation for the good of Ebonyi people for her investments in the lives of Ebonyi women, children and the less privileged, I pray Ebonyi people to maximize the many opportunities provided by our dear governor's wife through her pet-project and to continue to support Ebonyi State Government".

The wife of Ebonyi State governor, Mrs. Nwifuru, has been going round all the local government areas in Ebonyi State to inaugurate BERWO committees at the council levels and to commission strategic humanitarian intervention projects for Ebonyi people. Mrs. Nwifuru and her entourage shall visit Hon. Uchenna Igwe's home local government area, Ebonyi, on Friday May 3 and shall be received by the stakeholders of the council area including the council chairman, Chief Chinedu Uburu, the amiable grassroots commissioner, Hon. Uchenna Igwe, among others.
