FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS FC Beats Kano Pillar Junior 3-0

Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Football Club on Saturday in Abuja defeated Kano Pillars Junior FC 3-0 in the ongoing 2016 Nigeria National League One.

The match played at the Area 3 sports complex, FRSC dominated the game and bring the said big amount of supporters and fans.

God’s Power Igba opened scoring in the 26th minute of the game with a shot from outside the penalty box.

Junior FC fought back but could not convert their chances into goals.

On resumption of the second half, FRSCcontinues with the lead when God’s Power doubled the lead in the 63rd minute.

Three minute later Olayinka Yusuf scored the third goals.

Kano Pillar created so many scoring chances in the second half but failed to convert their chances to goals.

Olayinka Onigbinde, Head Coach FRSC FC, told newsmen at the end of the match that he had expected a win because his opponents were not strong.

“I am happy we won, and that was what I was expecting from my players. We have seven points now.

“I saw some mistakes that I need to work on, we will fight harder to win our next game with Lobi Star Junior in Markurdi on Thursday,’’ he said.

On his part, the head coach of Kano Pillars Junior FC, Ibrahim Musa said he could not blame his players for losing their game.

“They could not play up to my expectation because a large number of them are fasting, they were all weak, one of my key players was on the bench because he is not feeling fine.

“We are playing Kaduna Bees in our next game; I will go back to my drawing board and work on the mistakes.

“We have six points from three games, we won two games and we lost one,’’ he said.
