Ghana-Nigeria Youth Sports Tournament 2015 A Huge Success

Teams and individuals from Ghana and Nigeria gathered at the Azuma Nelson Sports Complex,Accra for the 2015 edition of the GHANA-NIGERIA YOUTH SPORTS TOURNAMENT. It was fun and excitement as the participating teams worked hard to make impact.SYNERGIES INSTITUTE won the gold cup of the Football Tournament defeating the GHANA FIRST SUPPORTERS UNION (GAFSU) football team.

Comrade Barry Ndu Nwaihim,Public Relation Officer of All Nigerian Community-Ghana and the Coordinator of RNIGO,organizers of the event expressed satisfaction with the level of performance displayed by the various teams.He commended everyone who participated for showing interest and urged for more participation in the next year edition.He said that sports unifies people hence the theme for this years event' UNITING GHANAIAN AND NIGERIAN YOUTHS THROUGH SPORTS'.

He urged young people to eschew violence and any negative attitude that has the tendency to bring disunity while assuring those with great display of talent of their groups willingness to assist them climb high in any chosen career of theirs.He asked for Government and private sector support in the organisation of such laudable initiative aimed at fostering unity among the two great countries in West Africa.

The Leader of GHANA FIRST SUPPORTERS UNION, Mr Sani Mohammed was pleased leading his team to the final of the football competition. He commended the organizers for putting up such great event aimed at uniting Ghanaian and Nigerian youths.He also called on Government to come to the aid of people who are talented but have no support to go further in their chosen career.

The President of National Association of Nigerian Students-Ghana,Mr Muhammed Katagum congratulated the winning team and urged those who lost not to see their loss in bad faith but rather go home and work hard so they can win the next year edition.

The Organizers promised that the nest year edition would be more impactful even as they called on companies and well meaning individuals to support such good cause.It was a very successful event as participants went home excited.
