Chelsea: John Terry Joint Highest Scoring Premier League Defender

Chelsea captain John Terry has become the joint-highest goal-scoring defender in Premier League history.

Terry’s goal in the 3-1 win at Leicester on Wednesday was his 38th – the same number former Everton player David Unsworth managed.

The now retired Unsworth was a regular penalty-taker and free-kick specialist, making 34-year-old Terry’s feat of catching him even more impressive.

Next on the list is former Leeds man Ian Harte who managed 28 goals.

However, Harte also took penalties.
