Tevez scores twice and creates Morata goal
Dortmund equal worst Champions League loss
Juve only Italian side in Friday's draw
Carlos Tevez struck a brace and created another goal as Juventus eased past Borussia Dortmund and into the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Juve striker smashed in from 30 yards early on, giving his side a 3-1 aggregate lead and a key away goal.

The home side pressed but created little and Tevez squared for Alvaro Morata to finish after half-time.

It left Dortmund needing four in the final 20 minutes and Tevez compounded their misery, firing in from 18 yards.

The former Manchester United and Manchester City player opened the scoring three weeks ago in Turin and his early blast at Dortmund's Westfalenstadion provided Juve with a platform to seal their third Champions League quarter-final spot in nine seasons.

Massimiliano Allegri's side – twice winners of the competition – will be an opponent few will relish being paired with in Friday's draw as with a 14-point cushion in Serie A, they can afford to focus fully on a tilt at a first European Cup win since 1996.

These are happy times for fans of the Old Lady. Five years ago to the day they were beaten 4-1 by Fulham in the Europa League but they have won their domestic title every year since and have conceded just 14 goals so far as they close in on another inevitable Scudetto this year.

Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp said his side faced “football's biggest challenge” in scoring against an Italian side with a lead to defend and in truth, their own poor defending led to them being comfortably picked apart.

Even without the injured Andrea Pirlo and having lost midfield engine Paul Pogba to a hamstring injury in the opening period, Juventus were comfortable in midfield and Morata could have doubled their lead twice before he effectively ended the tie.
