VOODOO CURSED BOKO HARAM TO HAUNT 'HOLY-LANDS'

Africans worship aliens as religions that create chaos within us. Voodoo powerful belief, as the oldest of all religions that followed original man out of Africa, influences every religion that preaches the difference between the good God and dare devil. Those that labeled Voodoo conveniently as witchcraft for challenging African holocaust, always celebrate Halloween. The common unique feature of all believers of God, is the staff of Obatala featured as the staff of Voodoo, Moses, Asclepius and Caduceus.

There are those that think that the problems Arabs face today has to do with how they treated others in the past. It was the Jews a day before, Africans holocaust yesterday and the Arabs today. What is next? The so called Arab Spring is so complex, even the Arabs do not know where it is going to end. So far, outsiders are taking advantage of the chaos, contrary to the aspiration of the people. They had bombed Kenya and Tanzania.

It was one Sokoto mother that gave birth to Sony Ali the Great that begat the prominent ancient Songhai Empire. He was not a devoted Muslim, actually wary of foreign religion of mass destruction in the name of converts. Songhai legacy was his last African empire that might have survived internal power struggle by the successors of Askia Daud but for the invasion of external forces. Ahmad al-Mansur in 1591, sent the Moroccan Army to plunder gold. They got victory but lost peace as gold mine remained outside their reach.

Little did they realize that there were more gold deeper in the South and when foreign forces did, mosquitoes killed most of their soldiers and horses since they lack antidote and immunity, the Voodoo that allow West Africans to cope. Nkrumah, the President of Ghana that Europeans had named Gold Coat later gave due honor to Voodoo miracles of the mosquitoes which drove plunderers of gold away from Africans’ holy lands.

This danger is close to Saudi Arabia and Jordan and if the kings are not nervous, they are fiddling while the Arabs are burning. One must wonder what the superpowers would do if the same uprising gets to Saudi Arabia since peace failed Kofi Annan in 2012 Syria lately. These movements since 1818 in Germany by the people have given the spring label a shared hope for optimism of freedom against oppressive and theocratic regimes.

Some Africans as Muslims hold Mecca in Saudi Arabia as holy land just as Christians see Jerusalem. It still has not sunk in that many people living in the lands of holy-wars see Africans as a threat. Their behavior towards Africans as immigrants and as visitors on pilgrimage is not better than old days. Indeed, we saw ethnic cleansing to their blacks in Israel and Arab countries, just as in Libya during the civil war that ousted Gadhafi.

Voodoo is an obstacle to their will, practiced by the unbelievers of their politics to wreck Haiti. By disguising religious fear as mystical devil, they arrogantly discouraged original older religious beliefs like Voodoo. Ironically just as they refused to see logic in today’s science of evolution, insisted on their creationism religious based on the same Voodoo power. Yet they claim their religion is founded on objectivity but others on witchcraft.

The subjugation of Africans traveling to Mecca on pilgrimage has been going on for a long time but tolerated in self-service to God. There is no doubt that some Africans may have abused their welcome in the name of religion. But the treatment meted out to Nigeria women recently, painting all those unaccompanied with a criminal brush, is a wakeup call. Even prostitutes, deserve salvation in the name of Allah in the holy land.

So, old Voodoo on Arabs has turned their search for democracy into Voodoo economics. There are other elements to the so called Arab Spring uprisings from within. We have to wonder if the people actually benefit from the dislocation of Arab Aristocracy or military form of government. As long as people are satisfied with their form of ruling system, there is no need to force impractical or incompatible rule in adventure for black gold.

It could have been better if what started out in Tunisia as a genuine revolt from one man could have produced economic justice for the mass of unemployed graduates. The spread to Libya, Egypt and Syria may not bear the fruit of peace we expected. If Lebanon is anything to go by, most of the Arab countries may end up like Somalia divided loyalty between warlords. Meanwhile by overthrowing dictators, religious extremists have taken over.

Petroleum like African gold drives the world economic engine. If the fire in the Middle East spread beyond the Arab world, there may not be enough fire fighters to contain the dislocation it will bring to world economy. In the pursuit of democracy, we may end up with more than what Arabs bargained for. Revolts that free us from sweatshop, slavery, human cruelty and domination are desirable only if not taken advantage of.

The leading causes of chaos in the world stage vary from new radical form of religions, communism and democracy seeking veiled commercial advantages to push their beliefs, trade, commerce and land grabs to consumers of finished products but manufacturers of nothing. It gets dicer whenever desired converts have abundant source of energy and vital minerals. British Empire is just one of the latest to fall after subjugating others.

No Country should push United States for being cautious about outright open support for the rebels in Syria. Iran and Iraq did not turn out as expected. Some would argue that the hostility towards United States has not disappeared. Even in Libya where the people and the Government were grateful for American support against Gadhafi, their number one American fan sacrificed his life. Sadly, such incident makes others leery.

The rest of the fingers are pointing to devout Christian and Muslim African politicians oppressing the masses the name of God by sponsoring pilgrimages to Jerusalem and Mecca in search of radicals and be prepared for a revolution similar to those of Arab countries unless the people have their way. Nigeria is a case in point where politicians justify their oppression of the masses with impunity. Otherwise Voodoo must come back and hunt them.
