HUMAN RIGHTS RELEASE UNO: PLEASE INTERVENE IN SYRIAN CASE NOW – ESTABLISH A BUFFER ZONE TO CONTAIN THE UPSURGE OF REFUGEES.
A Human Rights Group – ROMKEEP: Right of Man Keep, has called on UNO to set up, as a matter of urgency, a Buffer Zone inside Syria to contain the upsurge of refugees. This call is seriously necessitated by the unprecedented surge in human traffic which has almost crumbled Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan as border nations with Syria. There are more than 120,000 refugees in Turkey alone, 80,000 in Jordan, 70,000 in Lebanon and more than 10,000 in Iraq.
War continues in Damascus, Alleppo, Daraa and Ham and other enclaves. There is homicide going on in Syria and the world cannot wait to see the mass destruction of civilians in most heinous and careless way. The only way to combat it is force and the time is now.
Syrian's al-Assad and the rebels should be forced to a truce by UNO since peaceful settlement has eluded the battered nation.
