HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT: SOUTH KOFODAN & BLUE NILE STATE: UNO ARREST AL-BASHIR NOW
The world has been in awesome mood over the continued killing of helpless and hapless civilians in South Kofodan and Blue Niles States in Southern Sudan by Sudanese People's Liberation Movement SPLM-North led by the Sudan – al-Bashir. What baffles critical minds is the continued dilly dallying by World Court to actually arrest and prosecute al-Bashir after declaring him a fugitive. Because of this he has gained ground to perpetuate more havoc. South Kofodan and Blue Nile are the areas; the Abuja Accord did not recommend Referendum. That was the goofing of Obasanjo who summoned the meeting. The mistake is already made, what remains is the solution.
The UNO, AU and World Court should organize a Referendum for South Kofodan & Blue Niles to declare their interests. Where this is rejected by al-Bashir, force should be used expressly. Al-Bashir is a criminal.
South Kodofan and Blue Nile started war to join South Sudan in June 2011. It is only justice for them to join South Sudan. AU particularly should ensure the settlement by Referendum.
