NESTLE MILO FOOTBALL CLINIC ENTERS SEASON 2

'Because champions always strive to do more than the ordinary, Nestle MILO always endeavor to bring out the extraordinary in them' In 2010, Nestle MILO expanded its support and reach to the future champions with the maiden edition of the Nestle MILO Football Clinic anchored by one of Nigeria's foremost football living legends, Peter Rufai popularly called Dodomayana and other youth football development experts.

The clinic is based on unique proven scientific techniques discovered after 15 years of extensive research in Europe. In the maiden edition, twenty two lucky players were offered the opportunity to play international matches and get exposed to world class football techniques in addition to bursary scholarships provided them. This sponsorship activity has become one of the important platforms through which MILO nourishes the ambitions of its consumers.

The Second Edition promises to be more exciting and more rewarding for the participants. The event has now been expanded to reach out to more champions in different parts of Nigeria with regional screenings and clinic in Lagos, Ilorin and Enugu.  A record 2000 participants will be screened in each region

According to Dr. Samuel Adenekan the Corporate Affairs Manager, 'More Than Just Football', is deliberately chosen as the theme of the 2011 edition to express that participants will not only learn world-class football fundamentals based on the unique proven scientific technique, they will also be equipped with fundamental skills for success such as determination, teamwork, confidence and discipline towards achieving their goals in the game called life. This edition promises to be enriching for both body and mind development.

Registration for the clinic will be done through schools in the selected regions and it's open to children from 10 to 15 years of age. The regional screening is slated to kick-off in October at the Nnamdi Azikiwe  Stadium, Enugu  from 12th to 15th, then to Kwara Stadium, Ilorin  from 19th to 22nd and finally in Lagos from 26th to 29th at the Campus Square. In each region, the clinic will take place for three days. On the fourth day there'll be an exhibition match that will feature the best 32 players from the clinic.

Every participant will be nourished physically and mentally with the more delicious New MILO from start to finish. In addition, the most talented ones will be greatly rewarded with fantastic prizes, including bursary awards, certificates and medals.
