Akwa Ibom Governor Sacks Media Aide, Sam Osung

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has terminated the appointment of Sam Osung as his media aide with immediate effect.

This was made known in a statement made available on Tuesday by Ekerete Udoh, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

The statement, however, did not mention the reasons for the termination of his appointment.

It reads, “His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Governor, Akwa Ibom State, has directed the termination of employment of Sam Osung, as a Media Aide to the Governor.

“His termination takes immediate effect.”
