UM Ann Arbor Palestinian Researcher Seeks Studyparticipants/palestine Day Picnic Ii- May 14, 2023

By American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA)

ANN ARBOR, MI - Palestinian Researcher Rouan Salim and her research team at the University of Michigan are conducting a study on the experiences of adult Palestinian women (18+ years old) who have emigrated to the United States after living outside of the United States in, for example, Palestine, Jordan, etc.

The study aims to examine how their sense of self is affected by living in the US, who or what they rely on for support, and what a meaningful life looks like for them. The team is inviting adult Palestinian women with over 10 years of experience living in both areas to participate in a confidential one-hour interview, with a compensation of $26 in the form of a Visa gift card.

This research aims to represent Palestinian voices, a group that is generally unrecognized in research, and spread awareness on their needs and experiences while living in the US.

To participate, interested individuals can contact Rouan Salim at (734) 615-7479 or via email at [email protected].
