A Young Man Arrested For Raping 2 Minors In Minna

A Young Man (names withheld) of New Tunga Primary School is cooling his heels at Tudun Wada Police Station for allegedly raping 2 little Girls ; Saratu (11 years) and Maimuna (7 years) who were sent on an domestic errand by their mother to buy tomatoes.

The Niger State Child’s Right Agency, gathered that, the accused lured the 2 innocent children to his room and allegedly took advantage of them.

Mother to the minors observed the sudden strangeness in one of the Girls movement, which she suspected has to do with her private part, the curiosity led her to examine the Child only to notice that the girl’s private part has been tempered with.

The attention of the Niger State Child’s Right Agency was called upon, and immediately the Children were taken to Minna General Hospital for effective and efficient medical treatment.

The Agency will also ensure that proper legal action is taken upon the suspect.

The Niger State Child’s Right Agency is hereby calling on all well meaning Nigerlites to double their concerns, efforts and vigilance on the rising wave of all sorts of inhuman violence against Children especially the rise of rape and assault.

Nigerlites must come together to fight these acts capable of destroying the bright future of our Children.
