Engr Dio Wenapere Expresses Satisfaction Over Quality Of Work

As part of its efforts to ensure that Government projects in the State are executed according to specification, the Directorate of Project Monitoring & Evaluation inspected some projects Thursday, September 22, 2016.

These includes a Hostel Block at the Model Secondary School Kaiama, Epie Upland Aquaculture Project, Ecumenical Centre and Dualisation of Igbogene Junction to Glory Drive/Igbogene Round about.

At the Aquaculture Project, the Chairman of the Directorate, Engr Dio Wenapere expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of work.

In an interview with the Project Manager on site Dr Ugo Pinebi said the Aquaculture Project has a capacity of 400 ponds, when completed it will create employment opportunity for Bayelsans, diversify the economy of the State as well as boost the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the State.

Speaking further, Dr Ugo Pinebi said the Aquaculture farm will serve as tourist site that will attract people from all over the country and beyond.

At the the site of the Dualisation of Igbogene junction to Glory Drive/Igbogene Round about, the Ecumenical Centre and the Hostel Block at the Model Secondary School, the Chairman advised the Contractors to intensify work.

He reiterated the desire of the Governor Dickson’s administration to complete all ongoing Projects and urge Bayelsans to support the Dickson’s led administration.

In another development, the Chairman of the Directorate congratulated the Governor of the State, Henry Seriake Dickson on his victory at the Court of Appeal Court. He said the Court of Appeal ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and of the irrefutable choice of Bayelsans.

He said it reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary as well as a good development for the advancement of democracy in our nation
