Obiano Restates Plans On Massive Roads Construction When Rain Stops

Gov. Willie Obiano says his administration remains committed to its wholesome plan for massive development of all Anamnra rural communities.

The Governor disclosed this at Ogbunka, Orumba South council area of the state during a special reception organized for him and some illustrious indigenes of the community at the weekend.

Addressing the mammoth crowd that turned out to receive him, Gov Obiano thanked the community for their massive support to his administration, noting that despite having been neglected by successive administrations, the community has through their support exemplified commendable faith in government's ability to cater for their needs.

He promised to tackle the road infrastructure challenges of the community immediately the rains subside, urging them to continue to take the campaign to all nooks and crannies of the community for overwhelming victory for APGA in the upcoming elections.

In his welcome address, the community's President General, Mr Steve Ibebuike described the governor's visit as a strategic in their efforts towards attracting government's attention on their plight and expressed confidence that with the governor's humane disposition, there will be remarkable turnaround for the community henceforth.

Responding, the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal, Engr Frank Offor who was one of those honoured by the Community during the event, thanked the governor for affording him the opportunity to serve the state and his community for recognizing his efforts and promised that due to the love the governor has shown his community, they will continue to stand with him.
